Week 1: Merengue and Tostones
Welcome to a week filled with Puerto Rican, Dominican and Cuban flair. Discover the sounds of bachata and merengue, how to pitch in baseball, cook a traditional Caribbean dish with a professional chef, and much more.

Participants must be 5 years to 10 years old when the program starts.
Week 2: Salsa and Arepas: Welcome to a week of Encanto as we dive into the world of Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador. Don’t worry, we won’t serve the kids coffee, though that is the traditional drink of the region, but they won’t need it anyway, as they will be energized as they get carried away by the rhythms of cumbia and the beauty of this colorful region.

Week 3: Tango and Empanadas
Welcome to a week of tango as we venture to countries like Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. Kids will learn about yerba mate and what is a “bondi.” We will welcome a guest speaker, cook a traditional South American dish and, of course, play a lot of soccer

Week 4: Punta & Tamales: Welcome to a week filled with Mexican treats, while kids get immersed in the sounds of Mariachi and delicious Indigenous infused foods. Campers will experience the Central American Indigenous-infused foods. Campers will experience the Central American Indigenous and West African influences through food, traditions, rhythms of Punta and the cultures of countries like Belize, Costa Rice, and Panama. Campers will learn to appreciate the beauty of these countries.

Every week we will offer a variety of activities to cater to all kids’ interests including: sports, dance instruction, guest speakers, cooking club, water games, buddies’ program, art, science, gardening and many more! Fridays will be for fiesta, showcasing what kids have learned each week and celebrating the Latino culture as we know it best, with some music and yummy treats!
